Cast It! Rune Match-4 Adventure

Cast It! Rune Match-4 Adventure is a game made for GMTK Game Jam 2021 with the theme "Joined Together." In this game, the player will need to join runes in battle to fight enemies in a turn-based combat.

Game Description 

Combine runes to cast spells! Defeat your enemies by finding their element and type weaknesses.

How to Play 

Choose up to 4 runes and cast your spell by clicking CAST. Every spell successfully casted will reduce your mana points (the blue bar). Defeat enemies before your health points (the red bar) runs out. Note that not every rune combinations results in a spell that can be casted.

Elements 

There are a total of 8 elements, with 4 primary elements and 4 secondary elements. Secondary elements are made up of 2 primary element runes. Find out which rune corresponds to which element by trying out spells. (Note: Some runes don't represent an element and instead represent other aspects of the spell, such as shape or type and potency.)

Battles 

Each enemy has a different magic element and type weakness. Refer to the main menu or element chart for further information.
